We've seen it many times before. Any reporter or Putin critic is automatically endangered. They are either murdered or thrown in a prison where they die. At this point why does the Kremlin bother using these not so mysterious tactics to kill. Why poison or throwing people out the window? Why not just use a gun? Does this somehow make you less suspect? Why bother. We already know the Putin regime is a murderous dictatorship:
A Russian investigative journalist who wrote about the deaths of mercenaries in Syria has died in hospital after falling from his fifth-floor flat.

JAMES COMEY: Yes. But not in the way m-- I often hear people talk about it. I don't buy this stuff about him being mentally incompetent or early stages of dementia. He strikes me as a person of above average intelligence who's tracking conversations and knows what's going on. I don't think he's medically unfit to be president. I think he's morally unfit to be president.
No more business as usual in New York:
The Working Families Party endorsed actor Cynthia Nixon over two-term Gov. Andrew Cuomo on Saturday, fueling Nixon’s left-flank challenge and deepening a split among New York Democrats.
Right-wing Radio host, Alex Jones, was a big supporter of Donald Trump. Up until he decided to bomb Syria yesterday. Now Trump has lost him (see the video tirade here).
And there others (including FOX hosts) that are upset with the chickenhawkin the White House:
Many of President Donald Trump’s top media allies blasted him over the decision to launch strikes against Syria on Friday.
Just as ironic is Trump had argued during the Obama years against a strike in Syria without Congressional support:
Only days after Trump announced he would withdraw U.S. military involvement in Syria there has been another gas attack by the Assad regime. The Syrian government obviously feels they have a free hand. That means perpetrating genocide:
Dozens of Syrians in Douma have died by suffocation, following reports of a chemical attack. Douma is currently the last rebel-held enclave in the eastern part of the country near the capital Damascus. The alleged attack comes amidst days of heavy bombardment by government forces in an effort to assert control over the town.
Trump’s Homeland Security will begin tracking news outlets, journalists and ‘social media influencers’
It is no exaggeration to say Trump is trying to create a dictatorship:
The U.S. National Protection and Programs Directorate (NPPD) will begin creating a database to track and monitor hundreds of thousands of news outlets, journalists, bloggers, and “social media influencers,” in the latest Trump-world development of what sounds like a bad dystopian novel.
Trump is always trying to play to his base. But now he is pissing in someone else's backyard. You ain't dictator yet. Antagonizing GOP members of Congress will eventually blow up in the president's face:
Sen. Pat Roberts (R-Kan.) ripped the Trump administration's trade dispute with China on Wednesday, saying farmers and ranchers should not be collateral damage.
This time Trump might have stepped into one. The start of a trade war is frightening lots of people in Congress and elsewhere:
Republican senators from agricultural states say farmers and manufacturers will bear the brunt of a looming trade war, and are pleading with the White House to alter its tariff plans.
A powerful voice has been added in the fight to end gun violence in America:
After the shooting, Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey posted a rallying cry for gun control along with a link to the website for the March for Our Lives movement.
